Blackton Grange is a large, 8 bedroom, traditional farmhouse nestled within an 11 acre, private  estate in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  

We are a super-luxury, fully exclusive holiday home boasting all the luxuries and home comforts you could expect from a high end hotel.​  In this utterly exclusive location, comfort and attention to detail are complemented by an array of top quality services and experiences offered through external service providers. You can choose to self-cater or, go full service with chef & cocktail makers and anything in between. (please see “services” tab for more information).​

There’s lots to do in the house itself from relaxing in front of the fires, movie nights in the cinema room or taking in the views and stars from your very own private hot-tub.​ The setting is equally as stunning with a whole host of outdoor pursuits to keep you active and enjoying the great outdoors. Whether it’s the Pennine Way you want to explore or something a little more adventurous, the location and vast array of activities on the door step really will appeal to many.

​As well as the beautiful farm house, we also have an additional "celebration barn" which has been fully renovated and come 2023, will have full licensing to hold wedding ceremonies. Please refer to the "weddings" tab to find out more about our unique approach to your special day(s). ​Please note, any farmhouse stays are for the home only and exclude hire of the barn.
