Yes, it’s that time of year again, when everything is covered in a smattering of frost, all sparkly and picture postcard perfect. A great time to get the fires roaring, hunt out the winter jumpers and get all snuggled up.
We are thinking cosy nights by the fire, wintery walks with a hot flask in hand & festive films in the cinema room for starters. When it comes to winter, Blackton Grange really is our favourite place to be.
The scenery is breath taking at any time of year but add a dusting of frost or snow & it turns into something even more magical. The air is crisp, clean & bracing, the days are short but the night sky is FULL of stars.
The longer evenings make way for more cosy down time too which is always a bonus in our eyes. Gathering in the kitchen to cook your favourite meal, & shaking up a festive cocktail. Enjoying a game of pool in the games room or getting cosy with a board game in front of the roaring fire. Even soaking in the bath with your favourite book or gazing at the stars from the hot tub. Honestly, what's not to love?
As the nights draw in and the air becomes cold, Blackton Grange is the perfect escapism for some quality time with loved ones and we hope we can welcome you soon.
